Great Horned Owls Are Out!

I've been going to the refuges for a very long time. There have always been GHO living in a couple of spots in the refuge....but they tend to be heard but not seen. If seen, they are usually buried in some of the well known trees on the autotour. But yesterday it seems at least one of them was putting on a show for the few visitors at the refuge. Another reminder that there are always things to see at the refuges, even if the hundreds of thousands of migratory birds aren't there yet!
